Hi, I’m Lucy “Bookkeeping Mama Bear” Moore.

Yep, mama bear… I protect and take care of my clients. Safeguarding their businesses from costly mistakes and sometimes even from unknowingly breaking the law.

When I tell people that I’m a bookkeeper, the phrase I hear most often is, “Ugh, I was never any good at math.” And I get it. You are good at what you do. But the last thing you want to do after running your business all day is sit down and do your books.

I love to spend time traveling with my family. Beachtime in the US Virgin Islands, sailing, and feeling the sand in my toes… is glorious.
I am a “do whatever it takes” kinda girl. When I started my bookkeeping business, I wore all the hats… including a bit of housekeeping for clients on the side.
I love spending time with my family. Some of our favorite activities are watching “old” movies (from before 2014, so our seven-year-old hasn’t seen them), reading together, going fishing and swimming at the lake or beach, and playing board games or video games. Our one-year-old is obsessed with Mario Kart!
I have a love for animals that is core to who I am. I am a proud pet parent to 2 furbaby dogs and one furbaby cat. They entertain me on a daily. I have even bottle-fed several abandoned newborn kittens!

Oh, one more thing, I only work in Quickbooks Online. It is the gold standard of bookkeeping software, seamlessly integrating into other business systems.
